Hello Steven, and all,
I enjoyed playing around with the effect you outlined in 3DS Special
Effects. Very informative. I am just beginning to scratch the surface
regarding the use of paths, it seems.
After customizing the .prj file I decided to render to disk, for later
transfer to tape. I rendered backwards from 2756 to 0 by increments of -12, as
suggested. I rendered as .TGA files. So now I have GLOB0008.TGA,
GLOB0020.TGA, …. GLOB2756.TGA.
I have tried all kinds of ways to have Video Post recognize this sequence
of frames, but am having no luck. I must be missing something obvious.
I have tried putting GLOB*.TGA in the queue, then experimenting with all
manner of ranges in the rendering dialog box, ranges for Video Post, and such.
For example, Video Post sees 227 frames, I believe. But I can't get it to
render frame 226, or frame 2756 for that matter. I am stumped. I know I can
render a flic, then go to tape, or just render to tape, but I want to save the
TGA's. How can I get these to tape in "backwards" order? Is there an easy way
to rename them 0000 to 0226?
All my map-paths are OK, and the TGA's are fine.
