Thanks for the input. My target audience is used to very low quality – almost
homemade in some cases. I would like to be able to do non-linear editing so I
can mix and match interesting cases. I will most likely output to videotape,
however, since every hospital or doctor's office has a VCR. Ultimately, I
would like to create more polished work using the same collection of
interesting cases (i.e., video clips), probably in CD-ROM format but that is
where I wonder if I shouldn't just hire out for those services and just provide
my "library" of video clips.
My immediate problem is what kind of video acquisition equipment do I need –
Intel Indeo vs CineWorks vs FAST?
