Hello to all
I am an Officer with the Nassau County Sheriff's Dept. and I am
currently assigned to our new Video Production Studio. We produce Public
Relations, Training, and Inmate program videos for viewing on our in house
video network as well as for news releases to the media. We have the
capacity to house up to 3000 inmates at our Correctional Center and we
feel it is important to broadcast rehabilitative oriented video. We film
a weekly half hour program called "A View From Behind Bars" that features
interviews with professionals from the drug and alcohol field. These
videos are then played to inmates in our drug and alcohol programs.
Our studio is able to do 3 camera shoots and we can output to M-II 3/4
Beta SP and S-VHS / VHS. We have a killer Toaster setup (4000 with tower
case, Warp engine, Par Board, TBC-IV's, Studio 16, etc..) as well as a
Pinnacle DVE and Grass Valley CG. I do the graphics and animations and I
am the in house "ToasterHead". I also have a project studio in my home
with a Toaster.
I am interested in corresponding with other Law Enforcement agencies
that might be doing or would like to do similar work.
