I have not worked with Photo CD's interactive ability, but that really would add a lot of punch for a fairly inexpensive display system. * Returning to the idea of offline editing — I think that there are two main approaches to working with offline video on a digital system. One would be strictly offline editing; creating an EDL and finishing the project on a production system. Sencond, offline editing the video segments, BUT editing the entire soundtrack together online. The sound could then be merged with the live video.
