Dave, I discovered that one cannot get default DetailPen and BlockPen values for a screen by setting them to -1 in the NewScreen structure after getting your last message. I suppose it shouldn't have taken me so long to figure it out, but I had sorta figured that the RKM wouldn't lead me astray on simple stuff like this. I guess it's just further proof that documentation is _never_ fully accurate! Thanks again for your interest and help. Darron
