Steve, would you be willing to help my friend with this as well? He needs 3101
emulation to communicate with the IBM at work (sorry, I have no idea what
system/protocol/product IBM is using there), and the logon procedure offers
only two choices – 3101 or "IBM PC-YT". As I said to Rocco, he has achieved
partial success using DTerm. My feeling was that he should be able to convince
the system operators to install a more generic option to the terminal software,
but then I am totally unfamiliar with IBM and their big systems.
