Welcome to the forum and thanks for the presence at 'our' Expo in L.A.
You guys had a nice layout. I was a little 'tough' on the guy from Softwood
(his name escapes me just now). I had purchased 'MiAmiga' and then 'upgraded'
to 'Files II GS.' Programs that demand that the Ami be configured a certain
way really 'torch me off.' I am still not sure that he understood what I meant
by allowing the user to specify any device legal to the Ami for mass storage.
It probably does not matter much since 'Write & File' appears to be correct in
that regard and he stated that the interface for 'IIGS' would be changed to
match.
By the way, I did not get around to asking if there is an 'upgrade'
policy from 'IIGS' to Write & File. I hope so since the money spent on
Softwood products so far has been a total waste of money.
Please don't take these remarks personally as I am well aware of the
fact that you were not responsable for any of the problems that I have had with
those products. Stick around, this is THE place to find out about the Ami and
you certainly can provide valuable input to the rest of the members of this
