It is my understanding that the 32 bit memory for the 2630 is rather slow
as far as 32 bit memory goes – something like 100 ns, which causes more
wait states. By changing the chips from 100ns to 70 ns 32 bit memory the
performance increases dramatically. (I get my information from a tech for
an Amiga dealer who also happens to own the GVP 3001 board, so he is quite
familiar with the subject.) What I want to know is why none of these boards
can be expanded beyond 8 megs when the 68030 can address so much more?
