David, I have finally had enough time to play with the SYSEX messages and my CT-670. I have been unable to send SYSEX messages using the Music-X demo in the libs but I wrote a small C program to send out whatever hex sequences I type in from the keyboard. The keyboard responds very well in this manner so that I believe that the problem is with the way that I am using Music-X or the program itself. I need to send six bytes to the keyboard. In The demo I set the byte count to 6 and then enter the six bytes. After I type in the six bytes the important information from the screen looks like (44 03 00 70 51 21) (***) The cursor is left on the three asterisks! Is there some special key that I am supposed to hit to make the sequence valid at that point? If I do nothing except get out of the editor and play the sequence then the SYSEX is not sent. I hope you know more about this than I do. This is not exactly intuitive without the help of a manual. George
