And of course nobody ever mentions that the whole idea of 2 prong outlets was the big con pulled by the electric companies around the turn of the century to sell people on AC power rather than DC power! It seems like now that everyone's forgotten that fact that they're now saying "you should only plug things in one way" which is exactly what they told people you wouldn't have to do anymore with AC power.
