Are you running an 8-color Workbench? I've noticed many icons that look fine in 4-color have 3rd-plane color streaks in them under a 3-plane workbench. I believe this to be caused by them being marked as 3-plane icons even though only 2 planes are defined (the 3rd one is garbage). When I see this happen, I go into IconMaster (or some other 2-image multi-plane icon editor) and fix the colors.
