Here's a tip to improve the print quality of DMCS when using a higher resolution (DJ+, etc.) printer. NOTE: DO THIS ON A COPY OF THE PROGRAM, NOT THE ORIGINAL!: 1. Use Newzap or a similar program to search for $005003E8. (It occurs only once in the program). 2. The $03E8 (1000 dec) is the maximum number of pixels that the score setup window will allow for printer width. Zap the $03E8 to conform with the actual number of pixels your printer can produce in one line. On my DJ+ with 300dpi that would be 8" (1/4" margins) X 300 = 2400 or $0960. 3. Now play with the printer width and # of bars per line to make sure it all works. I've found that I can't go all the way up to 2400 (the printout freaks out!), but I can go way beyond 1000 to improve the print quality. -Paul-
