Amiga vs IBM & Mac
Allen: There may be, as you say, MORE desktop publishing software available
on other platforms, but Amiga DTP packaging that are top of the line by any
standard are available. Amiga was first personal computer (I believe) that
offered DTP with color output. Professional Page and Pagestream (and
possibly Saxon Publisher, with which I'm less familiar) compare favorably
with the more expensive Adobe, Aldus and Ventura packages on the other
platforms, at lower cost. I know, cuz I've used PCs and Macs and had a
chance to compare.
