Larger music/MIDI catalog? Depends on how you break it up. The Amiga has far more sound manipulation software, and what MIDI software it has is comparable to the best of the Mac & IBM stuff. The Amiga is sorely lacking in some good notation based programs, however, something I would love to see remedied. The Amiga has more software in most areas of graphics and animation as well, not just DTV. And the Amiga software in these areas tends to be significantly bbetter than the competition at a fraction of the price. As for educational software, let's be serious: After the first 1000 programs, who's counting? There is so much education software on all machines, Amiga included, that nobody can even count it, much less make use of it. It's quality, not quantity, that counts here. (OTOH, I haven't the faintest idea which machine has the best quality educational software. It's probably a silly question considering most educational software is written generically and ported to all kinds of machines…) Frankly, I feel the Amiga excels in most fields. It's just a matter of finding the right software, and despite the smaller selection, the amount of *quality* software is enough to do the job. –>Steve Bennett
