Bill: When was the last time you had your Mac sending a file to a PS printer, printing out color bitmapped image to a color printer, downloading messages from CIS via an automated program (Whap! here on the Amiga), reading messages online from another service, have another modem calling the local university to see if any usenet mail is waiting for you, all while you're looking at bitmapped graphics in a viewer type program all at the SAME time? This is only one example of a use for true multi-tasking.
