I'm a Mac developer, a PC developer, a UNIX developer, and I come home to
my Amiga, so I personally became an Amiga developer. I've been programming
for a dozen or so years, so really can't say I know it all, but I have come
close. <grin> System 7.0 looks pretty, and simplifies some things, but
makes other things (formerly simple) harder. There are a couple of neat
things (From the user point of view, once applications support them. From
the programmer point of view, they're a nightmare… <grin>) as well as
some very necessary things (inter-application communications, for
example…) but it still doesn't solve the two things I feel the Mac
*really* needs the most: Real multitasking, and a CLI. Until then, I
expect the Mac will remain as it has always been: Novice friendly,
Experienced User Hostile.
