The answers to your questions would probably be better left to someone with
more experience with the Mac emulation then I, but seeing as there were no
quick responses…
The Macintosh emulation is accomplished with a third-part add-on from
ReadySoft call AmaxII. AmaxII requires the use of actual Mac 128K ROMS,
and as such offers a near-perfect emulation of a Mac Plus. I have seen
reports that the Amiga (in this case Amiga 2000) with Amax actually running
Mac Plus applications faster than a Mac Plus. There are also conversion
utilities for exchanging data on disk between the two formats.
