Steve (and everyone who replied): Thanks for your help. I've decided to
upgrade an Amiga, but I've also decided not to cut corners and go with a
full-blown system (A2500 or A3000), rather than start low. Thus, I will get
my finances in order and within, oh, 6 months or so, I'll be able to get a
really good system. Plus I have it on good authority (a friend who spoke
with CBM people at SMPTE recently) that Commodore will be coming out with
an improved version of the 3000, sporting an MC68040, among other goodies,
in a couple months. So, I'll keep my eyes peeled, and eventually, I'll join
all of you here on the Amiga forums with an actual Amiga, instead of what I
like to call its "little brother" (The Tandy CoCo-3, not the C-64! 🙂
