IFF-PICT convert
HEEELLLLPPPPP! I'm trying to convert IFF/ILBM files to PICT and bring them
up on the Mac using ImageLink and Mac-2-Dos or AMax. ImageLink gives me a
256K file. Using Mac-2-Dos, I can make a file with a PICT resource type
and a SPNT creator (for SuperPaint). The problem is that when I try to
pick up the resulting file under SuperPaint on the Mac, I get a blank bit
map. The ImageLink folks say that M2D is the preferred route for transfer,
but they told me to use the default creator with PICT res type. M2D's
creator (Central Coast Software) said to use PICT res type with the creator
for the Mac program I want to use. Someone must be doing these
conversions–I can't seen Active Circuits advertizing and selling a PICT
converstor if it didn't work.
Anyone out there know how to manage this?? Many thanks in advance!
