But Macs _do_ have multitasking. "Running in background," don't y'know.
What they don't have is "pre-emptive" multitasking. "Pre-emptive"
multitasking makes things much easier for programmers, but I have actually
found (on the UNIX machines at work) that it actually has some
disadvantages for me on the user side… but not usually.
