HAM-E is a big as it is because it must manage two video output signals and maintain their individual or combined image quality in addition to the graphics decoding. Integrate HAM-E technology in the Amiga and all you require is the extra decoding logic, which is already largely there because of orignal HAM mode. Black Belt (nor anyone else but Commodore) hasn't the ability to pop the lid of a Denise and modify the logic inside. The toaster doesn't give us realtime animation, so I don't see anything to gain there.
