2nd Internal Floppy

For those looking to add a 2nd internal drive to their 2000, and have been
thwarted by the price (they're going for about 175.00 in Northern NJ) or
are having a hard time finding one (the previous price is when you DO
locate one) I found an alternative. Teac makes a 3.5" dirve, model
FD-135-50-U that works just fine. I picked one up at a flea market for
80.00. It came in a removable 5 1/4 frame, with an extra circuit board on
bak for use in the PC family. To ge it working in the 2000 required
unplugging the extra board, and moving 2 jumpers, one for the drivr select,
the other to enable the disk change circuitry. The only 'drawback' is that
it has a black face plate. So if you're in the market for another drive, hit
the next omputer show in your area, or check the adds in Computer Shopper
or a similar magazine.
