>>a particular MIDI interface<< Easy — called Briwall and asked for one. Seriously, tho, the interface is simple on an Amy (&3000=same for 2000/500), maybe because of serial port chip speed — plugs into serial port & gives you in/out/thru and a serial port (DB25) thru, all for $50 or so. No moving parts! My next project is to figure out what exactly this U-(2)20 *does*. Ideally, a computer program could let you change sound parameters (and attack/ sustain/decay/release parameters are among these) on the fly, all the while playing a scale or something to see what it sounds like….manual suggests that some values can be changed but others must be punched in on the front panel. And another message here suggested that the preset patches could be sent *from* the sound module to the computer for storing and cataloguing. And to top it off, SuperJam arrived in the mail today! Lots to do! How about you? — Eric A.
