We have a "world-famous" tomato here in Richmond, Va., called the Hanover.
It's actually a big boy, I think, but it's very, very tasty, due, rumor has
it, to the sweet soil of Hanover County. I always thought it was the best
around.
Last year, however, I had some home-grown Jersey tomatoes. They were
smaller than the Hanovers but (sorry Virginians) they were great! NJ
deserves its reputation (the good one, that is), in my tomato-loving
opinion.
