I've got an IR mouse from Practical Solutions (they're now out of
business). It works fine if you don't mind buying 2 new AAA batteries once
a week. I minded, and don't use the mouse.
I'm not crazy about optical mice because of the gridded metal (or plastic)
mousepad that's required.
I use a UX 3 buttom mouse and love it.
