The Boing mouse has a tail (cord) just like any other mouse. the difference
is that underneath the mouse there is no ball, but rather a small LED and
also a sensor, and the mousepad has a crosshatch design on it that is
sensed by the mouse, so that it can tell when you move the mouse. I believe
that it's possible to get the pads in different DPI's, as when I got my
aluminum pad, it was marked 200DPI, perhaps it's possible to get a 300DPI
pad, and then I wouldn't need to accelerate my mouse via software, I don't
know I never looked into this, but maybe somebody else here has.
