from gail…Howard is "zesty" alright. <g> This morn. we worked on
library files together, went to check baby furniture, stopped to check out
a brand new store called The Party Store…everything you need from wedding
limos to paper hats, jogged on over to Crown Book Store to see if they had
Jeff & Liz Ball's new book, "Yardening"… (they aren't going to carry it,
Jeff, so we'll just check Waldons & B. Daltons), had lunch at a new place
for us called The Soup Exchange…more soup, salad, pasta, than you can
shake a tureen at, drove over to the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, (here
in Claremont) to buy some special wildflower seeds for the Seed Swap here
on GARDENING, and visited "our" Redwood tree in the new California Culivar
Garden at Rancho. BTW, our tree in the Botanic Garden is larger than the
other 2 new "redwoods" that were planted awhile back. And that's about it
for a day of running around.
