I thought I would use the rupestris parent as the pod parent, it is more
vigorous as I mentioned. It's nice to know that you store pollen that long.
I think I might be able to manipulate the bloom time so they might bloom at
the same time. The E.tampensis hybrid has 2 leads one that grows in the
winter and, I suspect would produce flowers at about the same time, the
more vigorous growth is just starting now and would probably flower in late
summer – early fall. BTW, do you have a greenhouse(s)? What is your
favorite orchid? Any hybrids out there that you have made, named, and
cloned that I might look out for?
