#'perrenials
Hi everyone,
Just thought I would introduce myself. I live in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada,
that is <g>). My main interest in gardening has developed to be mainly
perrenials over the last few years. I have grown vegetables, but have
converted to strictly flowers. Given our winters I am always on the look
out for very hardy plants. I have completely redesigned our backyard to
raised flowerbeds (we have a problem of sinking ground) and I find this the
easist way to deal with it.
It seems that every year I find a new bed to make. This coming year it
will be a bed that will contain shrub roses. We are trying to find out a
wway to block dandelion seeds from drifting over from our neighbours lawn
(as he doesn't really care about his lawn and the wind just happens to blow
our way!). Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Well I have to go, and I am really glad to see this forum!
