Iris ALREADY!!!!! Even I think that's rather early for iris – and I do not claim much gardening knowledge. I do know the difference between a rose and an iris and violets. In fact, we use violets for ground cover. Look great, are hardy, and smell wonderful. We had one casulty here. Our acacia, which was absolutely COVERED with yellow blossoms, got so heavy with rain that a major branch sheared off. Poor tree, that must have hurt. Anyhow, we finished cutting it off, dragged it to the parkway and then let our gardener finish the job. He has a power saw! Glad to see your phone is dry again so you can talk. Anyhow, about that dinner. Let me know. I haven't heard from Howard, yet. YES, I'll see you sunday night.
