#time to seed
Hi, there. I am thinking of trying the technique of seeding my
'established' lawn of putting down the seed on the frozen turf. I'm
beginning to wonder if I missed my opportunity here in NJ, but I'll try it
anyway.
Where I was going with this was respect to the type of seed to put down. I
have seen a product from Scotts called Spirit. It supposedly is a tough
grass, able to handle drought, sun and some shade. I believe it is some
type of tall fescue, but I don't remember for sure. I want something that
will end up a dark green in color, and can handle periods of dryness we
sometimes get here in NJ. Any thoughts?
