Call it a new marketing gimmic, altruism. People stop and stare because
it's so unexpected. Competitors get all excited because they can't figure
out where you're coming from.
You're right though, I'm quite competitive when challenged, and quite good
as a gamesman when evaluating likely outcomes of various choices. I'm just
not particularly motivated by $$$, as long as I've got enough to pay the
bills and we've got enough to fund the projects we want to work on. This
puts Microsmiths at a competitive advantage because it means we can work on
projects which other companies might reject as being too risky
financially. Beats the heck out of losing sleep while working on projects
whose 1'st priority is the bottom line. Chas
