Thanks for the reply Phil! One of my main concerns Phil is how to accomplish the task. I was thinking that a homeowner would call saying they were redesigning their kitchen and were undecided as to which of two or three patterns of wall tiles would look best on the wall by the kitchen counter. How would I get those patterns onto the screen? Would I shoot them with a still camera, then bring the images into 3d-studio? Could I build up a library of still images for future reference? And would I need several lens types for my still camera to be able to take a complete shot of a wall from within a confined space? Another question focuses on how much I would need to learn to do this. Currently I know Autocad well enough to create 2D drawings, but nothing at all about rendering, or 3d work. Where would I go from here? And what kind of fee would be resonable? Really appreciate your inputs….BCG
