RE: getting an 2.2 mgeg Amiga file over to an IBM service bureau? Do you have a bridgeboard? If so, you could just backup the file (using MS-DOS 5.0 backup command) to IBM formatted floppies, and let the service bureau restore the file to their hard disk. If you don't have a bridgeboard, Consultron is selling an IBM emulator that may be able to let you accomplish the same thing. An expensive answer to the question: If your service bureau supports floptical drives, there are a couple of models available for the Amiga. This would let you store files as large as 20 meg, but you'd be well off to double check that Amiga and IBM floptical disks are cross-compatible… – via Whap!
