I _have_ version 1.0c, purchased last Saturday. So, I haven't sent in the card yet. Let me recap. I read the docs. They said "Don't mess with write protect, it will interfere with your installation". However, they didn't say _how_ the write protect should be set — i.e. should it be protected, or unprotected. All my disks were write disabled (protected). Since I have a hard drive, I clicked on the hard drive install program. It took a long time "searching" for my srial number. Then a requestor came up asking for my name and serial number. I entered both, and clicked on "OK". A system requestor came up saying my SuperJAM disk was write protected. Follwing what I thought were the instructions in the manual, I told the computer to go ahead anyway. It proceeded to install the program on my hard disk. When I tried to run the program, a message came up that said I "had to install SuperJAM". I thought I had. So, I went back to the program disk, and ran hard drive install again. This time, when the requestor came up, I unprotected the disk, inserted it, and said "try again". It wrote to the program disk, and then asked where I wanted SuperJAM installed (which, of course, had already been done, I thought). I told it, and it told me that I didn't have enough disk space (apparently, it wouldn't write over the files it had put there before). So (and I think this is where I messed up), I canceled the install, and then erased the SuperJAM drawer that had been put on my dh0:. I reran the hard drive install, and it couldn't find the serial number _again_. So I entered my name and serial number _again_, and it wrote to the disk _again_. It then installed all the files. Now, when I try to run the program, I get instant guru (somewhat different numbers each time. Last time it was 0000000B.00290BF8). Same thing happens when I try to run from the program disk (no "you have to install it" message, just crash). One additional piece of info: you have a file list on the program disk [ MORE ]
