Start making some phone calls and I'll give you 10% Let's not forget I was using an INTEL cpu and I think I drank some Pepsi's ! <g> I must tell you that in spite of the fact that many people kept telling me that I must have Animator to go along with 3DS, I didn't get it until very late in the project. I never understood what the heck it was or what it would do and I had my hands full learing 3DS. I wish I'd had it sooner; it is a fantastic program. If someone had described AA as a "post-production house" for fli's (which is how I regard it), I would have got it right away. BTW, I used AA not AA Pro. I'd like to mention to all that I'm not an artist or an animator; I'm a ballistics guy who needed to get a job done and I used 3DS as a tool to get that job done in a better way than I could have without it. I really enjoyed using 3DS. Many times I found myself astounded at what 3DS would let me create: "What man hath wrought!" as someone said. If 3DS is the beginning, imagine what we'll have down the road. I had no idea that my case would have resulted in such publicity. I did not know that it would set legal precedent and become so controversial. I've had many people discuss new 3DS projects with me since and I do think that all you real artists and animators will get some business because what is coming out of all this news stuff is an awakening to the value of 3D animation as a communications tool. (Seems to me that there is a bigger 3D market out there than flying logos and hummingbirds) However, I must inform all of you that my lawyers, agents, and representatives are seeking patent and copyright protection for all 3D animations used in criminal trials. Only those who have been licensed by us to utilize 3D animation in criminal trials will be permitted to do so. It's under the propietary "Look and Feel" doctrine. (Well, OK.
