The other night while sitting at my computer and working away I found my self slowing down to a snail's pace and I couldnt figure out why! Suddenly it dawned on me. It was my mouse! The lttle rodent was becoming slugish and failing to point where I was directing it to go. Thereupon I shut-down and turned the little guy over and opened the ball cage. Inside was shumtze, dirt, hairs and other foreign matter. Using a tweezer from my wife's set, I removed most of the hairs and dirt that had worked into the pivot points. Then I cleaned out the inside the mouse's belly cavity with a swab and alcohol. When I put mousey back together, it was fixed and acted as it had when it was young and I resumed my task. I think this problem had been going on for a long time but I compensated for the slow performance without realizing how bad it was. From now on I will think more about that least troublesome part of my system, my faithful mouse!
