Gale – Thanks for the jump start. I tested the grtext in all of it's optional modes. Unfortunately none of these are just what I'm looking for. I've become acustom to working without the acad screen menu and find the extra screen area useful. I also use the coordinates frequently as well as the mode status area. What I'd really like to do is use the right hand corner, like artist does for there dlp software. I could live without the dl size. What I'm putting up on the menu bar is my current osnap setting. I'm using a lisp routine to set a running osnap until a new osnap is set. The problem is I get going and don't always remember the last osnap that I selected. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
