Somewhere in the back of my mind I recall a bug in one of the versions of
AutoCAD that had to do with Attributes and the layer 0. I don't recall what
it is, but mabye if you point your query at David Gari he can look it up
among the mess on his desk <g>.
In the meantime, if it's only his machine, then it has to do with how he
makes blocks or what his setup is doing (changes in is prototype
drawing…). There is also an ATTDISP variable (I don't ever use it, so I
don't remember what all it does…) that you might look up. I'm typing in
the dark and can't read my manual <wide grin>.
