#Verify integrity of dwgs
Recently we had a problem with corrupted AutoCAD drawings (mostly entity
CRC errors). After we changed memory in one workstation and relocated
drawings from Novell 2.2 to Novell 386 server it disappeared. It looks
OK right now. We don't know which drawings were corrupted. Drawings are
mixed in several subdirectories on a file server. Until now we had to
recover, restore from backup, or recover with AutoSave about fifteen
drawings. Our total is about two thousand drawings using 400Mb of disk
space. What we want to do, it is to check integrity of all drawings
which we have. I don't know any method or utility to do it in batch
mode. I can write a two thousand lines batch file and have a script to
open and close each drawing, but error message files are not always
created on error condition. This will mean that we would have to open
and close two thousand files manually. AutoSave won't operate in a batch
mode neither.
Please live me a message, if someone knows how to check integrity of
a large number of drawings automatically.
