Sorry if I set you off..First I had no idea how expensive AutoCAD was.
Frankly I put them in the catogory of other overpriced software products
that have enjoyed the luxury of a captive market that I feel will
eventually shift over to less expensive state of the art newcomers.. but
who knows, CAD is not my living and I'm not qualified to say. I live in the
world of finance and I know what I've observed and trashed in the way of
big name, big priced, accounting packages… this is not to say that
AutoCAD is one of those..if you're a fan of theirs, then I hope they
deserve your loyality.
The test drive version would be fine for my purpose..but I would not pay
the price in anycase so that more or less closes the case.. perhaps a few
years back when their competition was a little sparse. Thanks for your
comments, though, I'm sorry if I got your feathers up.
