Steve, Brief is a truely awsome editor, I use it all the time. However, to the best of my knowledge, 512 characters is the max line length, and must be configured to do that. It is also fairly expensive. You did not give Norton editor a fair shack. There is NO need to have word wrap. It can be turned off, and saved in an off condition. I know of no line length limit in Norton. Norton Editor is also much less expensive. Give Norton a second try. In fact the older version, may be considered (by some) even better than the newest version. Kevin
