Brian Snipe may be the problem. I finally found out what my problem with LineType Scale was. The majority of the drawing files had someones custom line type for dashed and only a few had the actual Acad dashed line. The guy that started this project has left many glitches in the file and I keep tripping over them. I was continually trying to get the six files that had the Acad dashed line type to act like the 72 that didn't. Every time I reloaded the line type nothing was corrected. Now I am reloading the Acad dashed line type into the 72 files using a script when I open the file. The problem was bigger than I thought, but much simpler to solve, just takes time. David Harrier
