Steve – I tried to retrace this thread on the off-chance I could contribute something of value, but I couldn't; there is no thread to follow. When you reply to a message, please use Compuserve's REPly option. If you are using naked Compuserve, do this… when you read a message, you will see at the bottom a msg from the system: Press <CR> for next or type CHOICES! Enter CHOICES and you get a menu of options, #1 of which is REPLY with same subject. If you use this option, your reply will automatically be linked to the original message in a "thread", which makes it easy for anyone to follow the conversation. Using Compuserve is much easier, by the way, if you use a front end like ATO or Tapcis. I don't know ATO, but to reply to a message in Tapcis, simply type R and you are ready to go. One more little thing… many people don't download full messages, only the headers. Someone who knows all the ins and outs of plotting hidden line views might pick up on a thread with the subject "Plot hidden line problem" where they might just skip over a thread called "AutoCAD". I changed the subject on this thread and your reply to Dave T-L. Dave
