LISP
Daniel – I had the same idea and I found MuLISP by the SOFT WAREHOUSE in
Honolulu.
It is a complete lisp compiler. I have written a complete DOS shell for
our company that has been in use for a couple of years. It allows the user
to pick a drawing and an operation (edit in AutoCAD, Plot, copy to the
mainframe) and then exeute it. It also functions as screen saver and backs
up each PC to our VAX each night.
The cost for MULISP is not too great I think $400. If you are interested I
could get you an address tommorrow since I'm at home now and I only have
the address at work. They do not support OS/2 or windows, but the do have
a MAC version I think.
I have found the transition very easy. There are some differences though.
