I wanted to thank you for your message of encouragement in installing AutoCad on my computer. Yes it was relatively easy and I had little trouble completing it. I have to say, that my original reason for purchasing the program was to learn application programs that could be run through AutoCad.I was particularly interested in Civil Engineering programs such as the Cogo applications programs compatable with AutoCad. To make a long story short, I joined the appropriate forum and browsed through the library and found a Cogo program, downloaded it and tried to run the demonstration drawing. I could not get the program to run because AutoCad said that there wasn't enough memory to run it. I don't think that I can extend memory on my machine because it is an old XT. If you could shed some light on this particular problem or direct me to the appropriate source, such as a local user's group in my area, I would appreciate it. Thanks for your help.
