Doug, Use the REPly option when you respond so that our conversation remains in a continuous thread. This makes it easy to track conversations and create logs of question and answers that they generate. So much for Forum protocol. I don't know what level of ability you have with the program so I want you to explain to me exactly what isn't happening with the TRIM/EXTEND problem. Is your `cutting edge' highlighting? Do you get any type of error message or are you booted out to the COMMAND: prompt? Does it work at all? Give me a complete blow-by-blow. Post another message asking for help with the Summa, there are others here who are more familiar with it than I. As a matter of fact, post your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files as well as any .BAT file you might use to call AutoCAD. You might also want to tell us what your system consists of, I've forgotten what plotter you were using. Some problems may be related, but we've got to get a look at the whole forest before we start making any sawdust. Dennis
