The ad you saw must be for a V.32 (not V.32bis) unit without software. I
have heard that some mail order companies have raised the price to nearly
retail although their ads show a much lower price. Since the products will
be in short supply for months, I expect most mail order firms to do the
same.
I don't have the sysop offer on my HD but as I remember the SupraFAXModem
V.32 is $199 and the V.32bis is $249. These are generic modems without
software or cable. The Amiga bundle is about $40 more. Anyone ordering
must supply full BBS info and we only sell one modem per line.
