Well, unfortunately I can't comment on what features will or will not be in the next major release of ProWrite (we are still deciding on these features). However, just like in ProWrite 2.0 vs. 1.0, we depend heavily on user feedback in determining just what features to include. As to speed, it is difficult to make a multiple-font word processor be as fast as one that has to deal only with one font (you can't make any assumptions about the font or display that would help with the speed). However, of all of the multiple-font word processors on the Amiga, ProWrite is the fastest in terms of keeping up with typing. It is about twice as fast as excellence (we took pains to make it as fast as we could). In terms of printing speed, with the usage of 1.3 printer drivers it generally prints as fast as the printer can move its print head (depending upon the print mode you choose and what Preferences settings you have set).
