How Quit LW 2.0??
I haven't had any problems with Lightwave, and Modeler 2.0 has as yet to
crash for me. A marked improvement on my A3000 w/6MB (yay!). I have noticed
that the other slices seem to be buggier though. Whenever I switch between
several of the slices, the output seems to get stuck on a freeze frame that
causes me to lose my frame buffers when it retruns to live video. I have
also noticed that when this happens, while in LightWave, I can see a ghost
of the live video over my freeze frame (usually the generic color bars).
When this happens, LightWave will appear to be rendering properly, but I
won't see anything on the screen. I have learned to save the finished
picture to disk, because then I can re-load it into ToasterPaint and
finally see the rendered image.
Hopefully, this is not limited to the 3000, so I can expect to see some
attention paid to the problem.
